This two bedroom Victorian mid terrace cottage, is tucked away in a quiet location within walking distance of Fore Street. It has been recently sympathetically refurbished by the current owner and retains some beautiful character features, including original woodwork, floorboards and a Georgian fireplace.
As you enter the property there is a small sunny courtyard garden at the front, this leads into a useful utility space with plumbing for a washing machine. The kitchen has a large window to the front and a high ceiling, making the room feel very light and spacious. The kitchen is currently made up of free standing units, which will be removed by the vendor. This will allow space for someone to make the kitchen their own, there is plenty of room to put in either free standing units or a fitted kitchen. There is a Belfast sink unit with a solid slate top this will remain in the property.
The living room has original wooden floorboards and a working Georgian fireplace. This room has a large window which gives lots of light to the room and has garden views to the rear. From the living room there is a door leading out into the garden.
The garden is set out in a courtyard style, which has been laid to gravel and stone boarders. The garden backs onto the river Mardle, and benefits from beautiful river views, the bank of which is tree lined at the back and gives a good degree of privacy.
